Privacy Notice
Last updated August 2, 2026
Tampa SiteGen, based in Tampa, Florida, operates this service and is the data controller for the personal data described below. This notice explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and what rights you have.
What we collect and why
- Account data — email address and password credentials (or your Google sign-in identity). Used to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Business profile data — business name, contact phone, and contact email you enter into the generator or your profile. Used to generate and publish your website. Legal basis: contract.
- Generated site content — the sites you create, their style settings, and unlock status. Used to store, preview, publish, and deliver your purchase. Legal basis: contract.
- Support messages — anything you send us. Used to answer you. Legal basis: legitimate interests in supporting customers.
- Technical and usage data — IP address, device and browser information, and error logs. Used for security, fraud prevention, and improving reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
Payment card details are never collected or stored by us — they are handled entirely by our payment provider.
Who we share data with
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for processing sales, subscription management, invoicing, and tax compliance.
- Service providers that host our application and database, deliver authentication, and capture error diagnostics, acting on our instructions.
- Professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers, where necessary.
- Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.
We do not sell your personal data.
Publishing
A website you unlock and publish becomes reachable at a public link, including the business contact details you chose to put on it. We mark published sites as non-indexable by search engines by default. Do not put personal information on a generated site that you are not comfortable making public.
Retention
We keep account and site data for as long as your account is open, and for up to 12 months after you close it in case you return. Transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After those periods data is deleted or anonymised.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, row-level database access controls that restrict each account to its own data, and least-privilege access for administrators.
Cookies
We use essential cookies and local browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember your session. Our payment provider sets cookies needed to complete checkout. We do not run advertising cookies. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but sign-in will stop working.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to withdraw consent. Florida and other U.S. state residents may also have the right to opt out of sale or targeted advertising — we do neither. Contact us and we will respond within 30 days.
